Schedule for the weekend:
Friday, September 8th
From noon to 6pm – Set up tents & camp.
7pm Water Blessing and Community Feast & Potluck
8:30pm Tobacco Offering & Prayers around the fire.
Saturday, September 9th
7:30 to 8:30am Community Potluck Breakfast
9am Build Lodge and harvest wood, stones, water and tarps.
11am Lighting sacred fire and heating up grandfathers and grandmothers
2pm Prayer Lodges begin, mens and women’s lodges or one coed big one and
have as many rounds as needed to pray for healing our water protectors and guest activists and organizers who want to protect our water sources in
CT, NY, MA and VT.
7pm Water Blessing & Community Feast
9pm Sacred Circle Inter-faith “Sing” Devotions around the fire or in
tipi – i.e. Kirtan, Native American, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, etc.
Sunday, September 10th
8:30am Water Blessing and Community Feast
11am Prayer & Strategeies for collaboration to PROTECT and PRAY FOR OUR
12:30pm Lunch on your own with your prayer & strategies circles . . .
2pm Large Circle Prayer and Water Blessing
3pm – NEXT STEPS Networking
Conclusion of our Water Protectors Retreat
This is a family friendly event, children, youth, elders, veterans are
very much appreciated and welcome.
This is a NO ALCOHOL and DRUG program.
We are inviting healers of all traditions to come and offer support, healing and join our efforts.
Donations of tobacco, sage, sweetgrass, food, wood, stones and blankets
for lodges are welcome and apppreciated.
Love offerings from 50.00 to 200.00 for individuals & families of 3 to 5
may consider 100.00 to 300.00 for the weekend are also welcome.
Please bring your own personal drinking water, snacks, flashlights and
first aid kits/supplies.
Lunches are on your own. Breakfast and dinner meals will be community
potluck feast style.
Please bring your own eating utensils, plates, bowls and cups.
We want to minimize paper usage and please no styrofoam.
